Australia-Malaysia Forum 2010

Posted Tuesday April 20, 2010 under:

This year Talkback Classroom explores the theme of Education in the 21st Century with a focus on Malaysia and Australia.

In April Emily and Duncan from Melbourne joined Malaysian students Farhan and Devinia (Sunshine) on the first leg of a student investigation or Learning Journey in Malaysia in April and met with academics, government representatives and educators to ask questions about issues in education in Malaysia.

The visit to Malaysia culminated with a student forum hosted by the Australian High Commission.
The second leg of the Learning Journey takes place in June when the team is reunited in Australia to investigate education related issues from an Australian perspective as they prepare for a forum at the Elizabeth Murdoch Theatre Melbourne University on June 22nd.

To read account of the student’s Learning Journey in Malaysia and Australia read their blog entries and visit the project Facebook page ‘Talkback Classroom – Australia Malaysia forum.
